Learn to solder!! No experience needed. Kids 12 and up welcome as a parent/child solder experience. Choose from three options, below: Beginners: Make a NIFTY Velleman Light up Blinky heart.  beginner level activity, no experience required. $20. [members $15. We will adjust class cost for members on the day of the class]  Please bring your own 9V battery for testing. Intermediate: Wayne and Layne blinky grid sign LED through hole or surface mount.   Pre-registration and payment needed 2 weeks before the class, please,  so we can get the parts in house! $35 [If you want this option, sign up for the "regular" class and pay the extra $15 at the door.] Advanced: We have a nifty SMT kit you can work on with many tiny parts. Not a take-home project, but fun advanced SMT practice. Free for members, $10 otherwise.
